A curved beam has a
rectangular cross section. Its left end is fixed to a rigid wall, and its upper
end is subjected to a force T and a moment M. The beam is made of plain carbon
steel with Young's modulus of 30.5 Mpsi, and Poisson's ratio of 0.28. The
problem is solved numerically using FEM with SolidWorks Simulation, and if you wan to get a copy of this article, please send an email by filling out the Contact Us form. Please mention the tile of the article.
